PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified molding CAE operation method achieving improved quality of metallic mold/product design by implementing a plurality of molding CAE plans in a short period of time, having the weighing results of the analysis results reflected in the metallic mold/product design, and determining the direction of initial design. SOLUTION: The molding CAE operation method comprises the steps of: conducting a flow analysis on a product constitutive raw material by the molding CAE in producing the product by injection-molding the product constitutive raw material into a metallic mold, using the product structure information expressed three-dimensionally; and applying the obtained information of the flow analysis results to the metallic mold/product design. The product structure information comprises two-dimensional model information expressing the planer structure characteristic of the product and simplified three-dimensional model information prepared by using appendant information incidental to the two-dimensional information.
