<p>A PSCH generating part (101) generates a first synchronization channel information. An SSCH generating part (102) generates a second synchronization channel information. These generated synchronization channel information have their transmission powers controlled based on a power information outputted from a control channel power control circuit (105). An SCH power adjusting circuit (202) periodically changes the transmission power of the synchronization channel to a low level or a high level. A multiplying circuit (201) multiplies a signal obtained by adding together the first and second synchronization channels by an output value from the SCH power adjusting circuit (202). In this way, interference with other channels in a cell search is suppressed, while the synchronization capturing capability at the communication terminal can be improved.</p> |
