<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image retrieval system making it possible to easily retrieve images by eliminating the need for those who want images to individually access at each site for the retrieval of the images, and requiring only desired image data to be transmitted, so that those who want the images do not need to retrieve the desired images while guessing keywords. <P>SOLUTION: The image retrieval system is for accessing image retrieval Web sites via the Internet so that those who want images retrieve desired images from the sites provided by image providers.
