<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a metallic coil-shaped molded product being used as a protective tool, such as wiring or piping around a high-temperature heating section and if a connecting section thereof has repeated movements, the surface thereof and the inner surface of the protective tool are brought into contact with each other and the wiring, the piping or the like is bent or cracked, thus damages to the surfaces, breaks or the like may occur, and to provide a coil-shaped molded product, constituted of an inexpensive and light- weight synthetic resin, which has superior heat resistance, sufficient strength, elasticity and flexibility. <P>SOLUTION: In this protective tool, which is constituted of a coil-shaped molded product, formed by crystallizing crystalline thermoplastic resin and outer-packages the wiring, the piping or the like a polyethylene terephthalate is preferably used for the crystalline thermoplastic resin and strands constituting a coil of the coil-shaped molded product is an aggregate of one or more strand elements.
