PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video recording reservation system capable of relieving the operation load of a user much more. SOLUTION: The video recording reservation system that reserves video recording by using a recording medium includes: a step S5 of generating reservation information including information required for particularizing a program being a reservation object; a step S6 of assigning the reservation information to a prescribed recording medium; and a step S11 of reserving the video recording on the basis of the reservation information assigned to the prescribed recording medium. This invention assigns the reservation information to the recording medium and reserves the video recording on the basis thereof to very easily and especially create a library thereby relieving the load of the user.
