<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide appropriate and narrowed retrieval results to users of mobile communications devices. <P>SOLUTION: A context recognition retrieval service is provided to information requested by a user. Context recognition retrieval includes the context information of a user who required the information, the external context of the user/or a terminal which the user has connected, or context information such as the characteristic/context of the terminal. The contextualized requirements are processed through analyses for deciding the exact essence of the requirements, analyses for limiting the range of reference investigated for providing results, and analyses for selecting optimal contents and formats in order to present users with results obtained from other service providers, whereby appropriate and narrowed retrieval results are provided to users of mobile communications devices. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
