<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taxi operation state retrieving boarding reserving system having the convenient and simple constitution for enabling a taxi user to easily reserve boarding of a taxi by informing one's own position, and to know not only prediction of arrival but also seize a present position at boarding time after arrival. <P>SOLUTION: In this system, the taxi user transmits position information obtained from a position information informing device 20 to a public radiocommunication network 100 by a user portable terminal 10 when requiring the boarding. A taxi control center terminal 30 forms the taxi operation state contents according to the position information via the Internet 200 connected to this network, and sends back the contents to the terminal 10. The terminal 10 displays the contents on an image screen. The taxi user retrieves and browses the contents, and transmits taxi selecting information for selecting and designating a desired taxi, the position information and a telephone number of the user to a taxi terminal 40 via the public radiocommunication network 100 as boarding reservation.
