<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enhanced mobile terminal capable of equably lighting up a large-sized illumination key so as to reduce the illumination current. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display section 5 supports a liquid crystal display section holder. A light emitting means 10 for emitting light is provided in the liquid crystal display section holder 6. A light guide section 11 for transferring the light introduced from the light emitting means 10 to the liquid crystal display section 5 as backlight is provided in the liquid crystal display section holder 6.
