PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity sample support structure for an automatic vending machine in which commodity samples of any kinds can be supported on a sample base. SOLUTION: In this commodity sample support structure for an automatic vending machine, engagement parts 32 and 42 of commodity samples 3 and 4 are engaged with counter-engagement parts 51 in a sample base 5, so that the commodity samples 3 and 4 are supported on the sample base 5. It is provided with attachments 6 each having a sample counter-engagement part 61 to be engaged with the engagement parts 32 and 42 of the commodity samples 3 and 4 at an upper part, and a sample base engagement part 62 to be engaged with the counter-engagement part 51 in the sample base 5. When the engagement part 42 of the commodity sample 4 is not applicable to the counter-engagement part 51 in the sample base 5, the commodity sample 4 can be supported on the sample base 5 through the attachment 6.
