Disclosed is a humidifier with an electrical ventilating unit arranged in a housing for supplying an air throughput stream between air inlets and air outlets in the housing, at least one filtering device for the air throughput stream, and a device feeding fluid to the air throughput stream. Humidifying the air throughput stream is optional by providing two autonomous, attachable or detachable housing components (2, 3), the first of which (2) can be used independently of the second one (3) as a separate unit. Said first housing component is provided with a ventilating unit (4), filtering devices (6, 8), and air inlets (9) and outlets (10), and said second housing component (3) is configured as a recipient for storing fluids. |
