A pneumatic tire capable of preventing a tread rubber from being peeled off from side rubbers at the interfaces thereof and also preventing the side rubbers from being peeled off from side wall rubbers at the interfaces thereof and a method of manufacturing the tire, the tire wherein the interfaces between the side rubbers (28) and the side wall rubbers (32) are positioned on tire outer peripheral part side (low deformation part), not on a tire side face part sides to reduce a bending deformation acting on the interfaces between the side rubbers (28) and the side wall rubbers (32) so as to prevent the peeling (cracking) at the interfaces, and since the physical properties of the side rubbers (28) and the side wall rubbers (32) or the composition thereof are identical or similar to each other, the peeling (cracking) at the interfaces between the side rubbers (28) and the side wall rubbers (32) can be minimized. |
