The invention relates to an organic waste treating device used as a simple toilet or a raw refuse treating device in ordinary households, medical facilities, leisure boats, etc., for treating various organic wastes. The organic waste treating device is characterized by comprising a tank (8) attached to the inside of a main body (2), a rotary drum (10) to be charged with chips carrying microbes and rotatably attached to the inside of the tank (8), wherein the organic waste charged into the rotary drum (10) through an opening (10a) therein is stirringly rotated together with chips, thereby treating the organic waste by decomposing the same.
