<p>The invention relates to a method of protecting a set of information (NdLr) on an information support (4) belonging to a batch of said supports emitted by an entity with an identifier (CV) and which comprises batch identification (NdLr) and support identification (NS) data. The inventive method consists in producing control data (NdLTcns) which are correlated with (i) the set of information, (ii) the support identification data (NS) and (iii) the identifier (CV) of the entity. Said control data are produced by means of the controlled transformation of the set of information, depending on the support identification data (NS), using an algorithm that is selected from a library according to the value of the alphanumeric characters (NB19, NB13) of the identifier (CV).</p> |
