PURPOSE: A bath agent containing several Chines herbal plants in the type of a liquid or powder phase is provided which is useful for recovery from fatigue in a patient, an elderly person, a sportsman or the like. CONSTITUTION: A bath agent comprises 10 to 30% by weight of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge, 5 to 20% by weight of Astragalus membranaceus Bunge, 5 to 20% by weight of Atractylodis Rhizoma Alba, 5 to 15% by weight of Poria cocos(Fr.) Wolf, 5 to 15% by weight of Cassia tora L., 5 to 15% by weight of Pueraria thunbergiana(Sieb. et Zucc.) Benth., 5 to 15% by weight of Rehmanniae glutinosa (Gaertner) Liboschitz, 5 to 15% by weight of Angelica sinensis(Oliv.) Diels and 5 to 15% by weight of Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch.
