<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system, an image processor, a charging managing method, a program, and a storage medium for managing the charging of the usage of consumable articles for each user by the identifying server function of a computer connected on a network. <P>SOLUTION: In the image processing system where the image processor is connected through the network to the computer having the identifying server function, the computer manages charging information related with the usage of consumable articles for each user, and executes user identification from user ID 801 and a password 802 by the identifying server function in response to any request of a charging information acquisition request, a used counter addition request, a reserved counter addition request, and a reserved counter reset request, being a request related with the charging information from the user, and processes an upper limit counter 803, a used counter 804, and a reserved counter 805 of the charging information related with the usage of the consumable articles in response to the request from the user-identified user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
