PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an arbitrary user to refer to a two-dimensional arrangement plan prepared on a managing device.

SOLUTION: A managing device 101 for managing a plurality of printers 103-10n through a network 102 is provided with an arrangement plan preparing means for preparing a two-dimensional arrangement plan indicating the two-dimensional arrangement positions of those printers 103-10n in response to the operation of a user and an arrangement plan displaying means for displaying the two-dimensional arrangement plan prepared by the arrangement plan preparing means in response to the operation of the arbitrary user.
