ELECTRONIC SETTLEMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settlement method which is safer than before and to provide a settlement method which is less in processing quantity by a computer than before.

SOLUTION: A store when having dealings with a customer for the 1st time inquires the payment capability of the customer of a bank. The bank withdraws a corresponding amount from the account of the customer and pools it. The customer can pay within the pooled amount. Consequently, the risk of the bank and the store can be avoided. Further, this method can decrease the frequency of signature verification more than that of a Pay Word system which is proposed before as a small-amount settlement system. Consequently, the processing quantity of a computer is reducible.
