PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a routing method having superior efficiency wherein constitution of a local network constituted of some nodes and a plurality of nodes existing in the vicinity of some nodes is determined and unnecessary repeating traffic is reduced when communication is performed between the determined local networks. SOLUTION: By installing a random delay generating means 104, switching to a random time receiving mode is performed before a repeating packet is transmitted, and then the repeating packet is transmitted. By installing a packet constituting means 105, a packet reading means 106 and a CPU 107, routing information in a received packet is read, and routing information of the repeating packet is updated on the basis of operating result in the CPU 107 which result corresponds to the read information. By installing a vicinity node table 108 of a self node, an edge node table 109 showing a boundary of a communication area of the self node, vicinity node tables 110-115 of the plurality of vicinity nodes, and a comparing means 116 which compares and operates the node tables, constituting information of a local networks at a periphery of the self node is analyzed, and the repeating traffic is minimized.
