PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current-carrying connector capable of precisely preventing an electric shock accident, a short circuit accident, and foreign matter packing damage at current-uncarried time. SOLUTION: At current-uncarried time, a through hole 8 for a plug electrode 4 of a socket 2 is blocked up by a shutter body 13 pressed to a front wall part 7 of a fixed case 6 by moving energization of a spring 11. In this blocking-up state, the shutter body 13 is movably energized by a spring 12 so as to be opposed to a fixed case 6 side stopper part 14 in a part other than a recess space part 17.
