PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric blower which can suppress increase of the cost and the drop of performance accompanying the use while achieving the weight reduction. SOLUTION: A plurality of ventilation holes 29a-29d which pierce an iron core 25 in its thickness direction are provided in a region 25e which is wide of the effective magnetic path T of a stator iron core 25 in roughly square external form where a pair of field magnets 26 and 27 are mounted at the inside peripheral face of a rotor through hole 28. Consequently, the heat radiation area is increased and the stator iron core 25 is lightened without enlarging the external form of the stator iron core 25 of a stator 14. The air discharged from an air blow provided in a motor is let in each ventilation part 29a-29d so as to efficiently cool the stator 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
