PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tray loading device which can attain the compatibility of an increase of tray opening and closing strokes with downsizing. SOLUTION: The tray loading device 10 has the constitution that a first tray 20 is placed on a second tray 30 and that a pinion 33 on the second tray 30 engages a rack 40 of a casing 40 and a rack 23 of the first tray 20. When a pinion 50 engaging the rack 33 of the second tray 30 is rotated by a motor 52, the second tray 30 is moved to a drawing out direction and as the second tray 30 moves, the pinion 33 rotates while moving and the first tray 20 is moved relative to the second tray 30 by the distance at which the pinion 33 is moved by rotation of the pinion 33. Consequently, the first tray 20 and the second tray 30 can also be moved at a stroke ratio of 1:1 with respect to the casing 40. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
