PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high-speed jitter simulation of high accuracy on a circuit system including an oscillator. SOLUTION: A functional model to model a jitter generation phenomenon when subjected to a noise is used for the oscillator. In this functional model, jitter sensitivity JIT differs according to the fact that the noise in the power source voltage Vdd or the like is applied at which phase of the output signal VCO of the oscillator. The simulation to meet the jitter phenomenon of an actual circuit can be performed thereby. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
