PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver for multi-channel digital broadcast capable of surely receiving even a multi-channel digital broadcast program. SOLUTION: The receiver 1 is provided with: a first reception means 21 capable of receiving a satellite wave; and a second reception means 26 capable of communication at a lower rate than that of information transmission by the satellite wave, uses a demultiplexer 31 to demultiplex a program received by the first or second reception means 21 or 26 into data streams, allows a descramble section 32 to descramble the data streams, a decoder to decode the data and a display section 24 or the like to display the decoded data.
