The invention relates to a method for editing lexical images selected by a user from a collection of lexical images by means of an electronic device (4), particularly in communication with at least one interlocutor and provided with display means (1) and input means (2) characterised in comprising the following method steps: - selection of the lexical images preferred by the user in the form of a list for the generation of a repertoire specific to the user, display of the list in a display window in the display means (1) and selection of the lexical images from the list using the input means (2). The invention further relates to a method for learning a language comprising lexical images.
