The tool has a long handle and is of a diamond shape. A core, accommodated in a metal frame and made of wood or a rigid synthetic material, is provided with bristles at one side and with a rasping surface on the opposite side. An L-shaped element is screwed to one of the lateral sections and can be used for the cleaning of crevices at the lower side of the hoof.
