The guide (2) for the bottom side (4) of the conveyor belt (3) contains a groove (8) or the like with a vertical side following a path corresponding to the inside of a conveyor bend. The bottom side of the belt is provided with spaced apart rollers (9) with rotation axes extending at right angles to the plane of the belt. The rollers come into contact with the vertical side of the groove in the guide when the belt travels around the bend, so that the belt is kept close to the guide.
