摘要 PURPOSE: A device for deciding a bit rate using a dividing circuit is provided to configure all configurative elements in digital circuits, and to calculate a frequency regardless of waveform of an inputted electric signal, thereby removing errors without complexly calculating impedance matching and delay time of a precise substrate. CONSTITUTION: A 1/64 ECL(Emitter-Coupled Logic)(320) firstly divides an amplified electric signal. An ECL/TTL(Transistor Transistor Logic) interface(330) converts an ECL voltage level of the firstly-divided electric signal into a TTL voltage level. A 1/64 TTL(340) secondly divides the firstly-divided electric signal. A microprocessor(350) builds a 16-bit counter therein, counts the number of pulses of the secondly-divided electric signal for a predetermined time, calculates a frequency from the pulses, and decides a bit rate corresponding to the frequency.
