METHOD FOR CORRECTING MOUNT POSITIONS OF SURFACE MOUNT DEVICE USING FOUR REFERENCE POINTS

PURPOSE: A method for correcting mount positions of a surface mount device using four reference points is provided to correct accurately the mount positions by using the straight distances between a predetermined of x-y coordinates and two positions proportional to the predetermined of x-y coordinates. CONSTITUTION: A rectangle is formed by connecting four reference points(P1,P2,P3,P4) to each other. The first calculation process is performed to calculate the first straight distance between a predetermined position(P) of x-y coordinates and an arbitrary position on the first side of the rectangle and an extended line of the first side of the rectangle proportional to the predetermined of x-y coordinates. The second calculation process is performed to calculate the second straight distance between the predetermined of x-y coordinates and an arbitrary position on the second side of the rectangle and an extended line of the second side of the rectangle proportional to the predetermined of x-y coordinates. A real x-y coordinate and a real mount angle are calculated by using the first and the second straight distances. The mount position is corrected by using the real x-y coordinate and the real mount angle.
