<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter which can improve efficiency and can be downsized. <P>SOLUTION: Capacitors 4, 6 are connected in series across the DC power supply 2, and IGBTs 8, 10 are connected also in series. A primary winding 12P of a transformer 12 is connected between the connected point of the capacitors 4, 6 and the connected point of the IGBTs 8, 10. A snubber capacitor 32 and a diode 34 are connected to the IGBT 8 in parallel, and a snubber capacitor 38 and a diode 40 are connected to the IGBT 10 in parallel. A regenerative routing 50 is provided between the connected point of the capacitors 4, 6 and the snubber capacitors 32, 38. The routing 50 has an IGBT 54 connected between the connected point of the snubber capacitor 38 and the diode 40 and the connected point of the capacitors 4, 6, and has an IGBT 56 connected between the connected point of the snubber capacitor 38 and the diode 40 and the connected point of the capacitors 4, 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
