PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information terminal with a phone function capable of improving the efficiency on information transmission more than before by interlocking mail software and browser software with a telephone directory address. SOLUTION: The information terminal 1 is provided with: a display section 2; a control section 3; a storage section 4; a voice recognition control section 5; a telephone directory address storage section 6 for storing telephone directory address information; a line interface section 7 for transmission to a line, mail transmission and access to a URL; the mail software 8 for transmitting/receiving mail; and the browser software 9 for starting a browser. When the dialing telephone number selected by the display section 2 is transmitted to the line via the line interface section 7 and the destination is busy or the destination does not reply the call for a prescribed time, the display section 2 displays the mail address and the URL stored in the telephone directory address storage section 6 and when the mail address and the URL are selected, the mail software 8 or the browser software 9 is started.
