PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor using a radio transmission type mouse, and to make the ID information of the mouse correspond to the information processor side by a simple operation. SOLUTION: An ID setting changing utility is started on a personal computer 1, and when the 'start' of ID change is instructed on the setting utility by a user, the personal computer side is turned into the stand-by state for the reception of an ID signal from the mouse, and an EC 24 is turned into a stand-by state for processing. When an ID switching button 19 on the back face(bottom face) of a mouse 8 is depressed in the stand-by state for reception, the mouser 8 generates the other ID information at random, and updates and records the ID information. Then, when it is detected that the right and left click button of the mouse 8 is depressed in a fixed time by the EC 24, the ID information is updated and recorded in an HDD 24, so that new ID can be registered at the personal computer side, and the registration is completed.
