PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a direct current stabilization power supply capable of further reducing power consumption by switchingly operating a switching regulator and a series regulator in accordance with the magnitude, etc., of a load supplied to a power supply. SOLUTION: This direct current stabilization power supply is provided with the switching regulator 2 and the series regulator 3 for converting an input voltage from the same direct current power supply into respective different voltages and outputting the converted voltages. A control circuit part 4 controls a switching operation of the switching regulator 2 and the series regulator 3 so as to operate either the switching regulator 2 or the series regulator 3 in accordance with a switching control signal Sc inputted from the outside. In performing the switching operation, both the switching regulator 2 and the series regulator 3 are once operated, and then, only a desired regulator is continuously operated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
