<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of battery capacity characteristics, cycle characteristics and energy density characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The battery comprises a positive electrode 2, negative electrode 3, separator 4 and an electrolyte. The negative electrode active material of the negative electrode 3 is composed of a negative electrode-carrying body obtained by carrying a lithium compound formed by mixing at least 2 solutions on the surface of a negative electrode carrier. Deterioration of battery capacity characteristics, cycle characteristics and energy density characteristics is prevented because the lithium compound prevents the negative electrode from being deteriorated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
