<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that information embedded as an electronic watermark in digital contents is not sufficiently utilized in a conventional public print system or a public print service. <P>SOLUTION: In an image processing system in which an image input device, an image processor and image output device are connected through a public network, the image input device generates image data for output on the basis of information including digital contents, extracts electronic watermark information embedded as the digital contents, generates charging information based on the information (S301) and transfers the image data and the charging information to the image processor (S304).
