<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeless lighting system equipped with a cooling means capable of efficiently cooling a microwave generating device and the like so that the microwave generating device and the like can be stored and mounted inside a sealed housing. <P>SOLUTION: This lighting system is composed of a light emitting part 300 to form a plasma by a microwave generated by a magnetron and to emit light, a housing part 500 hermetically fastened to the light emitting part while having a first storage part 110 to store a microwave generating means, a heat exchanger 710 mounted to the outer side to absorb heat generated from the magnetron, a heat radiating part 720 mounted to the outer side of the housing, and a heat transfer member 730 to transfer heat from the heat exchanger to the heat radiating part, since its one end is connected to the heat exchanger and the other end is connected to the heat radiating part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
