PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the conventional problem that film, with a microcrystalline structure composed mainly of Fe and containing transition metals such as Nb, Zr, Hf and Ta and N, is sometimes inferior in corrosion resistance, even though it has superior soft magnetism, a high saturation magnetic flux density and thermal stability. SOLUTION: Zn having a sacrificial electrode effect and an enzyme that allows Zn to exist as an oxide and produces a situation, in which Zn is stably scattered in a film without activation of Zn during a thermal process that will cause partial deposition in the film, and reaction with glass, etc., and is scattered, are added to a metal magnetic film. In this way, it is possible to easily manufacture a metal magnetic film and a magnetic head that are improved in corrosion resistance, while proper magnetic characteristics are maintained.
