PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical junction box, capable of being removed from a vehicle body for recovery with high efficiency at the time of dismantling a scrapped vehicle. SOLUTION: This electrical junction box for an automobile consists of a case body for storing an electric circuit in a case and a fixing leg 12' for mounting the case body on the vehicle body side. The fixing leg 12' consists of a thick-walled peripheral section 17, a thin-wall section 13, a through-hole 15, a thick-wall columnar section 16 mounted around the through-hole 15, and a plurality of thick-wall ribs 14 for jointing the columnar section 16 with a peripheral section 17.
