PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video signal transmission system where a base band video signal and a modulated control signal or audio signal are transmitted through a cable, capable of simply and easily reducing induced noise due to near end crosstalk and attaining remote control for a lens of a TV camera and a universal head. SOLUTION: The video signal transmission system includes: an amplifier 22 for amplifying and transmitting a video signal at a video signal transmission side of a transmission cable; an attenuator 23 for attenuating the transmitted signal at a video signal receiver side of the cable, and high pass elements 24, 25 respectively connected in parallel with the amplifier and the attenuator.
