PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of fast transmitting image data fitting an external device. SOLUTION: This imaging apparatus for photographing an object is provided with an image pickup part for picking up an original image of an object, a first processing part for using a first conversion parameter to apply first image processing to the original image and generates first image data, a second processing part for using a second conversion parameter to apply first image processing to the original image and generating second image data, a storing part for associating the first image data with the second image data to store the associated first and second image data, an external connecting part for outputting the image data to the outside, and a control part for selecting either the first image data or the second image data stored in the storing part in accordance with an external device connected to an external connection part and outputting the selected image data from the external connecting part.
