<p>A two stage process for moulding elastomeric blocks enclosing spaced reinforcement sheets. Temporary mould liners locate opposite ends of the sheets while material is moulded (and partially cured) between and around the faces and sides of the sheets to provide sufficient support for the liners to be removed and the rest of the cavity filled without disturbing the reinforcement. For moulding anisotropically rigid blocks for supporting bridges, heavy machinery etc., wihout exposing the ends of the (metal) reinforcement.</p> |
