The invention relates to an intra-ocular lens (1) comprising an adhesive (5, 6) on its external border (2). Said adhesive (5, 6) can preferably be activated by UV light. In addition the external border (2) of the lens (1) is not curved but configured as an edge (2). This facilitates the fixing of the lens in the capsular sac, reduces the risk of a secondary cataract and optionally permits a larger optical device. |
