<p>The present subject matter is directed toward systems and methods in which a mobile phone (110) receives communications addressed to a second mobile phone (150) and routes those communications (115) to the second mobile phone (150) via a third mobile phone (140). Another aspect of the present subject matter is a mobile telematics device and a network node that work within a telematics network to route a radio communication in accordance with an information-centric routing protocol. Yet a further aspect includes a method of operating a telematics network in which a network address is auto-configured using a geographic location of a mobile telematics device. An additional auto-configured network address is received and an information-centric routing protocol is derived based at least in part on variables including the network addresses. A communication is routed to a mobile device via another mobile device and in accordance with the information-centric routing protocol.</p> |
