<p>Outlets (15-19) selected by mode doors (11-14) are disposed at substantially the same heights on the most downstream side of a unit case. Specifically, the unit case has, on its back, an upright portion (2a) extending upward on the downstream side of temperature regulating means and a horizontal portion (2b) extending horizontally on the most downstream side, thus forming the whole into a shape of the letter T, and the outlets (15-19) are provided to the horizontal portion (2b). Since the heights of the outlets (15-19) can be substantially the same, it is possible to suppress the height of the back part of the unit case. The air conditioner for a vehicle in which on the back of the unit case, an upright portion is formed, and outlets selectively opened by mode doors are provided on the most downstream side of the upright portion can have a sufficient space behind the upper part of the back of the unit case.</p> |
