<p>A description is given of a housing (1, 11) capable of containing in its interior a retractable needle for a 'pen' type syringe (3, 13) for subcutaneous injections or punctures, terminating in an end wall (4) with a central hole (5) for the said needle (2) to pass through. There is applied to the outer face (4e) of the said end wall (4) a layer (7) of absorbent material impregnated with disinfectant and completely covered by an impermeable membrane (6, 16) attached securely to and removably from the said cylindrical housing (1, 11).</p> |
