PURPOSE: A filter housing equipped with filter pressing structure is provided, which can be easily and stably assembled and dismantled to replace filter, so any leakage of raw water to filter is completely prevented by pressing rotational sealing member. CONSTITUTION: In the cylindrical filter housing(1) in which a cylindrical hollow filter(40) that has a vertical passage hole(42) at the center and is covered by packings(44,45) at the top and bottom is inserted to filter influent raw water and discharge through discharge hole(18), comprised are a body(10) which is formed to have an inlet hole(16) and outlet hole(18) and is coupled to the head(20) to connect the inlet hole(16) to the outer circumferential surface of filter(40) and to connect the inner passage hole(42) of filter(40) to the discharge hole(18) of body(10); a sealing member(30) for sealing body(10) and head(20) by sealing protuberances(32,33); a filter pressing clamp(90) for tightly clamping the coupling protuberance(14) of body(10) to the coupling protuberance(22) of head(20); a cylindrical head(20) set above the body(10), into which filter is inserted; a compacting pipe(50) for pressing the filter(40) downward; a guide pipe(60) set at the top of the head(20) to guide compacting bar(80); a compacting cap(70) set to cover the guide pipe(60) to tighten the compacting bar(80); and a compacting bar(80) to be screwed down to press the compacting pipe(50) to the filter(40).
