<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sales promotion leaflet preparation assisting apparatus which can efficiently prepare a sales promotion leaflet. <P>SOLUTION: A server 12 obtains commodity list data from a database server 14 and provides them for a seller side 17. The seller side 17 selects a commodity for which a sales promotion leaflets are formed by reference to the commodity list data and informs the server 12 of the selected commodity. The server 12 obtains commodity information on the selected commodity from the database server 14, generates sales promotion leaflet data for printing according to the obtained commodity information, and provides them for the seller side 17.
