<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ID transmission device which reduces power for a transmission of ID data, and whose procedure is simple and whose arrangement is also simple, and to provide an authentication system with the ID transmission device. <P>SOLUTION: An authentication server 2 and a reception device 4 are connected to a network 1 with a cable, and a transmission device 3 is connected to the reception device 4 by radio. The reception device 4 is provided to each of plural gates 6 of a building 5 respectively. The transmission device 3 holds ID data, and registers an effective time slot of an ID data transmission set. Through antennas 7 and 8, the transmission device 3 transmits wireless communication of the ID data with the reception device 4 only within the effective time slot of the transmission.
