<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document processor and program capable of enhancing the accuracy of translation by making translations while taking into account the probability of translation and phrases in text to be machine translated. <P>SOLUTION: The document processor for translating text of first language into text of second language includes a means 110 for separating the text of the first language into a line of words consisting of words or idioms according to the probability of division at which the text of the first language is divided into words or idioms; a means 120 for translating the line of words of the first language into a line of words of the second language according to the probability of translation at which the words or idioms forming the line of words are translated into words or idioms of the second language; and a means 130 for rearranging the words or idioms in the line of words of the second language according to the probability of connection at which the words or idioms forming the line of words of the second language are interconnected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
