PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head device wherein the prostrate state of a flexible substrate can be held without incurring the increase in the number of components and the complication of an assembling stage and repairs. SOLUTION: In a flexible substrate 50 used for the optical head device 1, a middle part 57 from an adhering part 52 adhering to a frame 3 to a first end part 54 does not adhere to a circuit board 60 and a rectangular projecting part 570 elastically abuts against an inner wall 39 of a recessed part 38 of the frame 3. Thereby, form reversion force of the middle part 57 of the flexible substrate 50 acts on the middle part 57 itself as the force for holding the prostrate state of the middle part 57 of the flexible substrate 50 on the circuit board 60.
