PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide audio equipment capable of successively reproducing the succeeding specified contents without loss time after completing the reproduction of specified contents. SOLUTION: A reproducing device comprises: a signal data source unit 12 containing an HD 15 storing signal data as contents; and a signal data source unit 13 containing a disk changer 19 mounting a plurality of optical disks recording the signal data as the contents. The reproducing device successively calls the contents for reproduction based on the previously specified sequence to send a reproduction output based on the reproduction contents. When the previously determined time reaches before completing the reproduction of the contents in the HD 15, the optical disk containing the contents being specified the forthcoming reproduction instructions is called. Access to the contents in the optical disk is done for standby. Reproduction is done from the accessed contents after completing the reproduction of the contents in the HD 15. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
